Ambient Echoes is a new collaborative partnership between labels Ambientologist and Echoes Blue, driven by their shared passion for vocal-infused ambient music, and its propensity for richer and more nuanced emotion.
The album melds together the labels’ two sonic profiles, with the open, sacred-sounding reveries of Echoes Blue, married with the more pensive, experimental-leaning sounds common to Ambientologist. And yet, rather than being pulled in two separate directions, the pieces on the album form a cohesive whole thanks to the continued vocal element, as well as this volume’s chosen theme: the emotional spectrum between anxiety and hope.
