Elvis - A Hundred Years From Now (1996)

100 Years from Now is the fourth installment in RCA's The Essential Elvis series. Like the previous three volumes, 100 Years from Now is a single-disc collection which focuses on a very specific timeframe -- namely, the sessions Elvis cut in Nashville during 1970 and 1971. With the addition of some between-song narration, the music from these sessions would later become the Elvis: Country album. All of the Elvis: Country record is presented on 100 Years from Now in its original form -- sans narration, without overdubs and in full running time. There are also the standard rarities and previously unreleased songs, like a version of "The Lord's Prayer."
