Hermit of Mink Hollow is Todd Rundgren's eighth solo album, released in 1978. The album is reminiscent of the artist's earlier, more pop-oriented records (though arguably less eclectic than 1972's Something/Anything?), and marks a return to a band-oriented set-up. Hermit of Mink Hollow also marks a lyrical return to the subject of relationships, as well as Rundgren's views on social inequality, with songs like "Bag Lady" and "Bread".
