Federico Bosio - Blackbird (2023) Hi Res

The solo work of the guitarist Federico Bosio sees the alternation of original pieces, influenced by jazz, pop and classical music, with great jazz and pop standards, often reharmonized and arranged for solo guitar. The atmospheres, intimate and rarefied in the acoustic moments, light up in the electric pieces: through the use of electronics, the guitar is transformed into a multitude of instruments, which dialogue in a swirling dance. Bosio's artistic career begins with the classical guitar, then moves on to rock and finally arrives at jazz. The degree in Siena Jazz is followed by the attendance of numerous summer seminars. Since 2012 he has been teaching guitar at Lorenzo Frizzera's UpDoo Music Courses. The four-month stay in New York was important for him. Federico has two CDs as a leader: "Double time", released in 2020 by the Dodicilune label, and the recent "Blackbird", solo, released by Ursa Major.
