Charlie Sutton has spent the past decade making stellar music, raising beautiful kids and exploring the great outdoors around Boise, Idaho. Since relocating to his home state of Idaho, Charlie has released an EP and a full length album (Whiskey Rain) with his former band Curtis/Sutton & the Scavengers and then subsequently released a solo album (Primitive Songs For Modern Times) on Junkerdash Records in 2020. His most recent release is an 8 song folk EP (Trout Takes) featuring all the members of his band—Charlie & The Changelings. Trout Takes was released in spring of 2022, receiving rave reviews from such music blogs as Saving Country Music, Americana Highways, Lonesome Highway and Americana Uk. Charlie is currently wrapping up a full length album, Phantom Drifter, with his band Charlie & The Changelings that is set to release in January 2023. Charlie is a veteran songwriter with over 25 years of live music under his belt. He was raised in the Pacific Northwest and has musical roots in the Midwest where he spent his late teens and early twenties playing music in St. Louis, MO.
