Gaspard Guerre - Translation MAO (2023) [Hi-Res]

In 2021 we had had the great pleasure of introducing Gaspard Guerre’s quartet. An excellent drummer, with a beautiful writing, Gaspard is one of those musicians constantly in search of encounters, research, adaptation for a free expression, so rich with emotion. One of his whole new co-operations, “Translation MAO”, led him to meet Antoine Fouquet, a bassist, keyboard player, but also saz player and a fan, too, of M.A.O. Among the multitude of software and technical tools helping to compose, to interpret and record music, the possibilities are endless and knowing how to use the best falls under a clever mix and a remarkable balance control. The new Bibliothèque de Limoges La Bastide, inaugurated earlier this year, will host this duet and the album release in preview, a new step on Gaspard Guerre’s path : MAO used to say “Music in joy” !!
