On the Italian and international scene since 1993, his artistic career has been articulated on the borderline between composition and improvisation, in a happy balance between theatrical performances, jazz concerts and songwriting, with exceptional traveling companions such as Matthias Martelli, Eugenio Allegri , Gianluigi Carlone, Guido Catalano, Flaco Biondini, Federico Sirianni, Giorgio LiCalzi.
Having developed his knowledge of musical language by studying classical piano and jazz improvisation (under the guidance of Aldo Rindone and Luigi Bonafede), he then perfected himself in the field by playing on the stages of Italy and Europe (including London, Bucharest, Barcelona and many others) in concerts and theatrical performances. Between 2019 and 2022 he plays in the Italian Cultural Institutes of Paris, Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Brussels, Strasbourg and Lyon.
He composes and performs incidental music live for institutions such as the Teatro Stabile Torino ("Dante, between the flames and the stars", 2021, directed by Emanuele Bronzino), Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria ("Raffaello the son of the wind", directed by Eugenio Allegri, 2020), Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani Turin ("In the name of the Web God", 2018). His original songs have been broadcast by RAIUNO, RADIOTRE and other radio networks: in 2021 "Classic Folk" is released, a collection of original songs for string quartet inspired by popular music.
In the theater field, he is a regular partner of Matthias Martelli with whom he has shared various national tours and won the San Marino 2015 award. He shared the stage for many years with Guido Catalano, and has participated in productions with the Teatro della Tosse and Teatro Narramondo ( Genoa), CPEM Theater and Assembly Theater (Turin).
Among his main projects: the Orchestra da Tre Soldi (winner of the Best Jazz 2008 award), the Duo with the violinist Giulia Subba, the world jazz quartet AmbosMundos, formed in 2019 and guest of important festivals, the show "Musica x 2 " with Gianluigi Carlone, leader of the Banda Osiris and the last born, the new jazz quartet Twombao. Here is an overview of all projects.
