When he is not officiating with Local Natives, Kelcey Alcer pursues his solo journey. Remember when we took a dose of sweetness with his side-project Jaws Of Love. with her album named Tasha Sits Close To The Piano a few years ago. Well, this year is placed on the sign of its return with its long-awaited successor called Second Life.
And here we go for a good dose of emotion in the company of Jaws Of Love. Through these ten new titles, Kelcey Alcer has decided to open up to his audience with introspective compositions such as "1000 Years" as an opening but also the moving ballads "Angelica" and "Rainbow Baby".
Second Life feels honesty and frankness in its texts and this is what gives balm to the heart. Jaws Of Love. is in its element with beautiful, elegant and touching pieces like “Rachel Takes A Bath” and “Staple Gun”. Second Life sounds like something of a rebirth for the Local Natives member who sees his art expand into the afterlife until the end with "100 Years" and "The Heist." A very beautiful album to listen to religiously at the end of the year.
