Au jus is meat cooked in its own natural juices and as a former vegetarian I'm sorry if you're offended but its damn tasty! Many of these tracks were indeed stewing for years, taking in a flavor of their own. "Ghosts In Your Head" for example was written in 1995 for a drummer in my band that was dealing with heavy stuff. The 2001 version of this is also included with the help of my "Respec' Band" in Hull Bay, St. Thomas, USVI. Then there's "The Breeze", a tune that started itself when I was doing farm work one hot Midwestern summer so many years ago.
The stillness of Parisian Quarantine hangs in the air of 2020's Covid pandemic, and of course the frustration is heard in "Mayday 2020 Blues".
