In 2004 James Lee Stanley invited John Batdorf to join him in the studio doing acoustic reinventions of classic Rolling Stones tunes. Imagine Crosby Stills & Nash meet Led Zeppelin. The resulting All Wood and Stones was hailed by Sirius XM as the contender for Record of the Year. In 2011 Stanley did it again with All Wood and Doors at the behest of John Densmore of the Doors, who along with Robby Krieger played on it. 2013 brought us All Wood and Stones II, and now, as the fourth in the Beachwood Series All Wood and... comes All Wood and Led. This is not a cover recording but a complete reinvention of some of the most celebrated songs in the Zeppelin catalog. Joined by Chad Watson on bass and Washington "Smowdown" Tahr on percussion Stanley & Navarro have created a timeless classic recording.
