There are composers whose talent turns literally everything into a work of art, for which they would not be taken. Such people prove by their own example that there are no "low" genres - there are bad "writers". They are distinguished by an impeccable sense of style and deep melodic talent, making the music they wrote, on the one hand, accessible to the widest range of listeners, and, on the other hand, devoid of the vulgar vulgarity of servile simplification. In the west they are Nino Rota and Ennio Morricone, in the east - Jo Hisaishi (born 1950).
Mamoru Fujisawa (real name Hisaishi) began to study music at the age of five, at 19 he entered a music college, where he was imbued with the then revolutionary ideas of minimalism, which determined his future musical style. He released his first CD, Information, in 1982, but real recognition came two years later with the release of the cult animated film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, with music written by Hisaishi. Subsequently, he will write music for more than 100 animated and feature films, for four of which (an absolute record) he will receive an award from the Japanese Film Academy in the nomination "Best Film Music".
