Debuted on Atlantic Records in 1969 with Motor-Cycle, a semi-autobiograhical LP fusing urban poetry with rock, R&B, and jazz.
The succes of Sharon Brown - I Specialize In Love, which she co-wrote, enabled her to move into record production.
