Life is an illusion, love a dream. Disappointments, The Eternal Youth has known. Nothing is ever over, the second album by caennais was released in June 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, between two confinements. The period was not of the most favorable but the group had at heart to show us its evolution, both on the influences musical, mixing his punk rock with cold wave and post punk touches, only on the solidity and the maturity of the compounds. The various circumstances of life have prevented them from defending properly this record on the road but nothing is ever over and so here they are back, ready to figure it out.

In case the previous message was not correctly passed, Life is an illusion, love is a dream (line of text extracted from a piece of the Buzzcocks) puts a layer of it back and drives the point home, with always these English sounds, 80's, in the line of sight but equipped with a modern and very neat. Even if Fra (guitar / vocals) is well occupied by his position within the Burning Heads, the quartet is far from having said its last word. What an even darker future heralds this new album by The Eternal Youth, when we are already in times of war, health crisis,social, ecological? Answer in a few weeks...
