On his second visit to the acclaimed Blues & Folk Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland, pianist/singer Shrimp City Slim partnered with fine local blues unit Green Grass for a seven-show tour of the region. They called the outing "Transatlantic Blues Project", which truly it is...a joyous rendezvous of blues traditions from both sides of The Pond!
This CD was recorded live at the Hotel Pod Orlem in Bydgoszcz on October 27, 2012, the final night of the tour. With an enthusiastic hometown audience, great sound, and plenty of hospitality, Shrimp & GG threw down a mighty program of both Shrimp originals (six tunes from "Highway 17: Lowcountry Blues Live") and spicy covers in the hundred- year-old ballroom of the venerable Bydgoszcz hotel.
