Mercy John - Nights on Fire (2022) Hi Res

Mercy John wrote the new 11-track album during the Covid period. A time when everyone's patience was tested, shows were constantly being moved and the success of the co-written hit 'Roller Coaster' was mainly heard on the radio and unfortunately not live. But now it's time for something else, time to go out: into the night. To discover something new. To celebrate the life that lies ahead, but also to celebrate the lives of those who have sadly lost Mercy John in the past year. Because the night is inscrutable, exciting and treacherous at the same time.

In early 2022, Mercy John and his regular band entered Jules Fransen's studio to record 'Nights On Fire'. As always, the songs and lyrics are a reflection of the life of the Brabander. As a result, the songs of the album sound from small and intimate (Death is in the Air) to large and intense (Ghost in the Machine), with enough space for his band members Rolf Verbaant (guitar), Kirsten Boersma (keyboards), Tom Zwaans (bass) and Lynyrd Denissen (drums) to shine.
