Marcello Milanese starts playing the blues at the age of 16; in 1996 he writes and plays the soundtrack of a theatre performance about the history of blues. The first EP “Chainsaw & Brokenheart” is released in 1999. The album “Wrong Time Wrong Place” is completed with his band Marcello & the Machine in 2000. In 2002 they’re in Milan, BluesHouse and they are inserted in the celebrating compilation for Milan legendary club’s 10th birthday. In 2003 Marcello & the Machine take part to another, Blues Sounds Good Vol. 1 and, at the end of 2004 "Esterdays" is released and the band is chosen to appear in the movie and soundtrack of Fausto Paravidino/Fandango Film “Texas”, starring Valeria Golino, Riccardo Scamarcio and Valerio Binasco. At Venice Film Festival in 2005 Marcello plays live for the presentation of the movie. In 2006 Marcello ends up another record/project, Marcello’s Blues Maphia “Si Vis Rock’n’roll Parabellum”. Jimbo Mathus, the famous guitar player and producer from Clarksdale, Mississippi, is the guest star.
During the past years Marcello played with all of the major Italian bluesmen, he opened international stars’ concerts (ex. Blues Brothers Band) and he jammed with living legends like Dr. Herman Green, the founder of BB King Orchestra.
