Little Kim - Moederland (2022)

Little girls grow up. Kimberly Claeys, known as the front woman of Kadril and as background singer for Guido Belcanto, is stretching her own wings!
In the autumn of 2022, more precisely in the month of November, she will have her first newborn above the baptismal font. A brainchild that will go through life with the nickname 'Motherland' and is made up of strong country, folk, roots and Americana genes. Although the term Flandricana is more appropriate in this context, because the child speaks and sings as it is called, namely in her mother tongue: Dutch. Or as record label Starman Records beautifully puts it: 'country modeled from Flemish clay'.
Motherland, both the CD and the performance, contains Dutch-language songs written and/or interpreted by renowned names such as Guido Belcanto, Bruno Deneckere and Lieven Tavernier.
