"Music with a punk background for listening and going nuts" - yes, you can put it that way. Somewhere between pop-punk, German pop and singer-songwriter Grundhass has found his niche, which he continues to cultivate proficiently on the second album. The twelve new songs sound more compact and like a band sound, the acoustic guitar is left in the case more often, song titles like "Die Ballade Vom Orangenen Lieferdienst", "Dortmund" or "Messerkampf Im Penny-Markt" make you curious. The strength of the album is certainly that Grundhass still perfectly masters marrying intimacy and melancholic storytelling with widescreen stadium melodies. Perhaps that also appealed to Sebastian Madsen, who makes a guest appearance as a duet partner on opener "Tag Am See."
