Walter Astral - Hyperdruide EP (2022)

To my left, I have Tino Gelli, a member of promising bands such as Polycool and Whyte Sands. To my right, I have Tristan, half of the cosmic techno duo Ovhal44. Together, they form the superduo Walter Astral which is a summary of what they have been able to accomplish so far with the arrival of a first EP called Hyperdruide as an official statement.

Composed of five titles, Walter Astral manages to combine different musical styles that they have each shaped on their own. Hyperdruide is a mystical journey where the specters of Altin Gün and Flavien Berger soar throughout through hypnotic compositions such as the intriguing eight-minute introduction but also "Le Feu" and "L'Air". We let ourselves be carried away by its melodies interpreted on saz and/or banjo interspersed with acid basses and catchy drum machines with "La Terre" and "L'eau" with lyrics repeated harmoniously like a mantra. Anyway, we let ourselves be carried away by these dancing and psychedelic rhythms which have earned them a very good reputation on stage so far.
