Burt Blanca (real name Norbert Blancke) is a Belgian musician born August 6, 1944 in Neder-Over-Heembeek in the northern suburbs of Brussels. Renowned studio guitarist, Burt Blanca is the pioneer of rock in Belgium. He is the author of many hits such as Touche pas à mon rock'n'roll1, Clap, Clap Sound, Ma Guitare bleue, Rock'n'Roll is good for the soul, Twist twist senora or Le Train ne passe plus par là. First prize at the Conservatory, accordion specialist, songwriter and musical arranger, he became a singer by chance.
He also plays accordion, Hawaiian guitar, saxophone, clarinet, acoustic guitar, banjo and even pedal-steel.
