Mumdance & Logos - Different Circles (2016)

Since coining the term ‘weightless grime’ a couple of years back, Mumdance and Logos have pioneered a sound, style, and aesthetic which has spread and been incorporated by producers right around the globe. This isn’t some regional sound started from a chance happening, with the power of the internet, the weightless sound is fast becoming a global phenomenon. On this latest release through their Different Circles imprint, the pair mark out the territory currently being covered by a select group of producers they’d house under the "weightless" umbrella. The likes of Airhead, Rabit, Strictface, Inkke, Fis and Sharpveins all contribute to the mix, which will undoubtedly become a hallmark in the history of the sound.
