This album is in search for the sound that makes the music of two great composers, from a distant and more recent past, still live: one, Bach, who has never written for guitar but has always been a living part of the guitar repertoire; the other Tarrega, a great and secluded master, guitarist and composer, one of the cornerstones of modern guitar literature. Guitarist Giacomo Palazzesi studied with Pietro Antinori, Odair Assad, Angelo Gilardino. He also studied with Luigi Attademo and Carles Trepat. He made his recording debut in 2016 with an album focusing on the music of Pahissa, Cassado, Llobet, and de Falla, which received widespread critical acclaim. The following year he collaborated with Carles Trepat for the concerts dedicated to the bicentenary of the birth of Antonio de Torres and with film director Marco Tullio Giordana for the soundtrack of the film Two Soldiers.
