Elementary Penguins - The Charge Of The Light Brigade (2017)

The band was founded in Amsterdam after singer and bassist Dale Wathey responded to a call in a supermarket from guitarist Jan-Paul Kooistra. Shortly afterwards, drummer Maurits Huijgen joined the band on the advice of Bram Kniest and Teun Hieltjes from Go Back to the Zoo, who are friends with Kooistra, as Huijgen was their roadie. In the summer of 2012, an EP was recorded, the first song "Everybody Knows My Name Especially On The Dance Floor" was released in September of that year.
