A two-time Blues Music Award-winning sax player Jimmy Carpenter, who’s also been nominated recently for a Blues Blast Magazine award for best horn player, has something special in-store for his fans with the release of his new CD

Jimmy Carpenter was an important part of Mike Zito and The Wheel. This new album is a Louisiana themed cover album. Carpenter covers songs by Allen Toussaint, Fats Domino, Dr. John and others.

Guest musicians include guitarist Zito, John Gros keyboards, Casandra Falconer bass, and Wayne Maureau drums. This is a great new album from Carpenter which also displays his fine vocal abilities.
