Jeigo - Cerulean (2022)

Written between 2020-2021, “Cerulean” is a ten-track album which delves into the isolation of the emotion of blue. The tracks flow between UK genres, combining sliced breaks, emotive melodic synths and deep pulsating low end to audibly display Jeigo’s intricate and melancholic production qualities. Taking influence from the likes of Four Tet’s “Beautiful Rewind” and Everything But The Girl’s “Walking Wounded”, the album was produced in his former family home in South West London during the pandemic and finished in his home for the last two years in Peckham. Each track sits on the border of home listening and club functionality, with essences of crying on the dance floor euphoria, too those blissful or challenging moments alone.
