This is supposed to be the seventh record from a tight-knit group that has known exactly where the swing cabinet should be for nearly twenty years. At the time of writing, SWAS is out on an anniversary tour. Nevertheless, several of them lead their own critically acclaimed groups or are part of a series of other projects. Their somewhat cocky name is justified.

The album was recorded in the same vein as the previous one at Skeppsholmen, a production reviewed in Kulturbloggen. It is tempting to reproduce some of the wording in the press release. It is emphasized that the music swings, swings and bubbles, which no sane person can dispute. It is admitted that sometimes it is stiltje, that is, slowly sweeping ballads. Out of ten songs, four are originals from one of the stars. Four of the members share the "burden" of being responsible for arrangements, of which Fredrik Lindborg takes care of four and Klas Lindquist three.

They stick to the same line-up. To start from the back, the rhythm section consists of Göran Lind on double bass and drummer Mattias Puttonen. Pianist is none other than Daniel Tilling (last seen with Gotland Big Band in Ystad at YSJF this month). In the front line are the brass: trombonist Dicken Hedrenius, Karl Olandersson on trumpet and vocals, as well as the aforementioned Fredrik Lindborg (tenor sax, clarinet and bass clarinet) and Klas Lindquist (alto saxophone and clarinet).

Smooth uncomplicated tones begin. As if tagged musicians want to outshine each other in a cheerful Jerome Kern composition. The stand-on-the-gas tempos are slowed down with a masterful scar signed by Daniel Tilling. Two melodies from the 30s, one of which is based on a Cuban folk song, have been woven together. Tasty dishes are served elegantly on a board. Notes a little fold and typically charming vocal effort from Olandersson.
