The hibernation of 2020/21 saw the creation of a new work from Tim and Rachel which features the well established intertwining of their instruments and voices along with the addition of piano melodies, string arrangements and guest drummer Dane Campbell. The pause from touring provided plenty of time to explore new ideas and writing tools and the writing of this album provided an important guiding light through such a strange time in the world. Technical guitar and violin pieces sit alongside atmospheric songs rich in vocal harmonies. Sometimes whimsical and sometimes serious, the album is a reflection on the life of two touring musicians whose usual orbit suddenly shrank to revolve around a tiny little village in the forest in Germany. http://www.timmcmillanrachelsnow.com
