ANRI - ANRI The BEST (2000)

A 2-disc set of best-of albums that completely cover Anri's representative songs, a pop singer who mass-produced hit albums in the 80's with a refreshing singing voice and light dance sound that suits summer well. She quickly appeared on the scene with her famous ballad "Olivia wo Kinokanagara", penned by Ami Ozaki. The anime theme song "CAT'S EYE" and "Sadness ga Tomaranai", produced by Toshio Kadomatsu, were consecutive hits. Personally, Kadomatsu's masterpiece "Timely!" (1983), I think the song selection for this album, which closes the curtain with the Kadomatsu-like ballad "I CAN'T EVER CHANGE YOUR LOVE FOR ME," is a great answer. (Yutaka Kimura)
