For those who don't know yet, David West comes from the band Total Control and Rat Columbus. The Australian groups have to their credit a discography for the less solid so far but that does not prevent the main interested party from emancipating solo. The proof with his new album entitled Jolly In The Bush.

With these ten new titles, David West once again establishes his authority with his musical genius. The Australian musician has an affectation for the British scene of the 1980s, notably through titles such as "The Poet Of My Dreams" as an opening but also the infectious energy of "6AM Style" and "Sleeping Head" between others.

Suffice to say that with Jolly In The Bush, David West continues to fascinate. With sharp moments like “Not That Lonely Yet” or even “Prove Your Love”, we are faced with effective indie rock moments that go straight to the point. Even if we find guests like Bob Jones from Eaters as well as Mikey Young, it is our host who dominates on Jolly In The Bush absolutely catchy and sparkling with "You Saved My Life" and "So We Ran Away" placed at the end of the disc. The Australian makes his talent as a musician speak with this caustic record.
