Winner of several chamber music competitions (Leopold Bellan 1st prize, Rabastens 1st prize and public prize, Fnapec partner grant), the Duo Solea forms a rare association, that of the guitar and the cello. The pearly sound of the first unites perfectly with the vibrating timbre of the second. The two musicians explore a repertoire that is sometimes overlooked, and strive to have new things written, by commissioning young composers. In 2016, they created a show, "Décacorde", in co-production with JMFrance, mixing humor and music, aimed at young audiences. Armen Doneyan is the winner of numerous guitar competitions (GFA, Ivor Mairants, Stefano Strata, Antony, Robert J. Vidal) and released his first solo CD with Naxos in 2017. He studied with Alexandre Gérard, Ramon de Herrera, Judicaël Perroy, Roland Dyens and Jean-Marc Zvellenreuther. He is a laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation and plays on Savarez strings. From ensemble music (orchestra of cellos by F. Salque, company Miroirs Extents, etc.), to the orchestra (solo cello of the Orchester des Lauréats des Conservatoires from 2015 to 2018), through current and improvised music (Duo Brady, Mathilda Tree group), Michèle Pierre likes to diversify her repertoire. She is a laureate of the Flame competition and has benefited from the support of the Meyer Foundation. She studied with Aline Bertrand, Romain Garioud, François Salque, Philippe Muller, Philippe Bary, Véronique Marin-Queyras, Raphaël Pidoux and Luc-Marie Aguera.
