Summer At Shatter Creek is a Craig Michael Gurvitch singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist with a penchant for moody folk-pop. As the only official member, his music is deeply personal and based on many layered, delicately played instruments. Strongly reminiscent of the British chamber pop scene, Summer at Shatter Creek has a distinctly sad sound. But re-listening reveals Gurvich's subtle wit, as he often points out tiny absurdities in his depressing situations.
