Seeks to rescue the ancestry of African music, and its extensions, a new starting point for his career, free of labels and where every feeling and forms could merge into a single language. The album "BLUES FOR AFRICA" takes shape as a synthesis of two decades of research covering all forms of expression and feelings of Africa. Zulu gospel to the Sufi art of the Tuareg in the Sahara, the Zambian people of joy to introspection of Yoruba and Igbo corners in Nigeria, Delta Blues to the plethora of New Orleans rhythms, Jamaican reggae tribal rhythms of Central Africa. The work does not propose a fusion of rhythms, but just a reunion, the search of the lost languages ??link that developed in other parts of the planet and returning to its source. The African continent, origin of human life and so many forms of expression in the world.
The musician considers Brazil a prime location to develop the project as a country that is influenced strongly both from Africa and North America, besides the fact that African culture has developed here a unique way of being. The CD is recorded in six languages ??(Zulu, Yoruba, bembé, Igbo, Swahili and English) from eight countries (Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria, Mali, Kenya, Jamaica, Brazil and the United States) that comprises compositions and traditional songs and ancestors People of all cited.
