A classic set of jazzy samba by the legendary Eliana Pittman – one that's served up with some great bossa compositions and sweet larger backings from Maestro Gaya! Eliana's working here with Booker Pittman, who the liner notes bill as an American jazzman and although he gets in a few saxophone solos on some tracks, the album's mostly Eliana's own, with vocals upfront in the mix, and a full, rich, slightly soulful set of backings from Gaya – all done in a nice mode that's a bit of a precursor to the later Blue Brazil sound.
