Man East - HI TEK MUSIC (2022)

Following on from the recent Underground Software EP, East Man returns with an album of instrumentals. The titular track, Hi Tek Music, opens the album with static noise and a robotic vocal before stepping into a funky, mechanical 2 step groove. Followed by a VIP remix of a track from Stop Flapping Your Gums Vol.2 that people have been asking for over the last few years, Jaws 2. The album is full of East Mans trade mark fusion of Grime, Dancehall and Techno, and is littered with staples of his inimitable DJ sets that have until now been unavailable to anyone. Including the VIP remix of Fight For A Cause, which until now only East Man and Grandmixxer have been able to play, along with older dubs like Mouth Almighty and Lenky Lenky Long Lankin which both appeared on the East Man Fact Mag Red, White & Zero freestyle video with Saint P, Lyrical Strally and Kwam. There are also newer dubs like Tin Pan Techno, and the bashment heavy Sorry and Chat ‘Bout? which have only previously been heard in live sets, like the We Out Here Festival live stream from Giles Petersons with NyNy and Mic Ty in the summer of 2020. This album is packed with essential instrumentals to mash up the darkest corners of the dance!
