Antonio Meneses and fellow Brazilian pianist Celina Szrvinsk celebrate the golden age of the early 20th century music that helped shape multicultural life in Paris, from Brazilian composers Heitor Villa-Lobos and Mozart Camargo Guarnieri, Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů, and French composer Nadia Boulanger. After four successful recordings (including a Gramophone Disc of the Month, a recent Editor's Choice, and a Benchmark recording at BBC Music magazine), Antonio Meneses introduces a different partner on the keyboard to explore music from his native land and other forms of expression that Paris evoked in composers from different backgrounds and generations.
