Formed in the early sixties in Te Atatu, West Auckland, New Zealand, originally as The Mergers, The La De Da's were known for their RnB styled raucous performances. They were signed to Zodiac but licensed to Philips for NZ release. Their debut album is regarded as a garage rock classic and is hard to find.
Moving to Australia in the late sixties they became one of that country's leading live acts until they split in 1975 with just Kevin Borich remaining from the original line-up.
