“Lontano amor is a project dedicated to my grandmother, who sang all her life. While sewing, cooking, nursing children, when she was tired or cheerful. A boundless repertoire of popular or author songs; emotions from the past, an echo that I carry inside me since I was a child and I used to fall asleep listening to her lullabies and "Vecchio scarpone". Through this project, I wanted to give new life to something hidden, beautiful and deep. The music has been played by four companions - with a rich musical experience (from jazz, free improvisation to classical and traditional music) - bonded together by the love for improvisation.”
