Mac Cornish is a 22 year old musician currently based in San Francisco. She is largely inspired by 60s and 70s folk, Bossa Nova, and everything in between. Mac writes music about navigating identity, love, and friendship. Her songs are often simple in nature, but full of emotional texture, revealing her influences from classics like Joan Baez and Karen Dalton, and more contemporary artists like Juan Wauters and Jessica Pratt. Mostly playing shows within the San Francisco and Portland DIY scene, she sticks out with her distinctly soft and sentimental sound. Oakland based artist Holly Tzeigon-Whitaker has been writing soul-stirring songs under the moniker Kalinders since 2019. Garnering inspiration from her upbringing on 60's folk and 70's classic rock, as well as her love of soul, jazz and blues, Tzeigon-Whitaker has crafted a catalogue of classic yet contemporary tunes, her rich and reaching voice at the foreground. Joined by Nate Burns on lead guitar, Celia Ford on bass and Connor Gosa on drums, Kalinders' seduces listeners into a wistful, raw and storied world — one where longing meets catharsis. Kalinders' debut single, "Convenient Hell" premieres on all streaming platforms April 22nd, 2022.
