The Eugène Ysaÿe Fund has existed since 1977 through successive purchases and a 2007 donation from the family, and comprises more than 1000 printed scores and 161 autograph scores. Several handwritten scores on which this recording is based - some precisely as first recordings - come from this Ysaÿe collection and in particular from the rich library of the Royal Conservatoire of Music in Liège.
