The Witch Doctors are born from the meeting of three fans of the blue note that haunts the rolling waves of the Mississippi ... After fifteen spent in various formations (The Ratpack , Walrus , Clarksdale), Emmanuel Desnos (guitar), Olivier Gebenholtz years (drums) and Jean-Christophe Pagnucco (bass and vocals) met and loved in the first chorus, and decided to combine their efforts in a trio soul blues and rock'n'roll energy. After more than 150 concerts and beautiful moments shared stage with Little Bob , Rob Tognoni , The Shaggy Dogs, Neal Black, Fred Hatter , Nico Wayne Toussaint, Keith Dunn, Arthur Adams, Normand trio became a stalwart of French blues-rock stage. While their first two albums , “Born on the Bocage” and “14 heures par jour”, respectively prize for best French blues cd for 2011 and Selection collective blues radios, were received with full fervor on the part of the press music (Blues magazine, Jukebox, BCR magazine Soul Bag ...) , our three friends continue to defend their French repertoire in marathon concerts on the stages of France . In this new album, “Libre”, the Witch Doctors express their faith more than ever in French bluesy and they became one of the references rock'n'roll.
