UNDP Collective - UnderPool 1 (2013)

First in a series of record label publications, inviting different musicians to a recording session, where each one provide one or more compositions written for the occasion. In this case for a band without harmonic instruments and well filled with bends in wood and metal.

In this session the musicians find themselves without rehearsals in the studio and start working on the songs, most of the time they are recorded in first take. So in just over a day the material for the disc is prepared.

The participating musicians are known or close to each other, they share the stage with their own groups and others who collaborate on the Barcelona jazz scene. Outside this area many of them are also on tour and festivals as part of or accompanying bands of better known names.

All participating musicians have bands as leaders and sidemans, we encourage you to listen to them and support their work.
