Still, it is not possible to shake off the sometimes a little too familiar feeling that surrounds the first six songs we get from album number seven. Veronica Maggio is still the best in class on Veronica Maggio-pop, "Se mig" and "Varsomhelst / närsomhjst" have already become solid hits. She now knows exactly how to find the straightest path to the listener. And possibly that's why that world of crying in the rain and nightly drunken dramas does not always engage as before, the concept easily feels a little too ... safe. In the last two songs, playful "Daddy issues" and the adult love ballad "Lost to the world", however, there are signs of new perspectives, both in text and music. Part two is welcome to take those tracks further.
