Suzie Brown - Some See the Flowers (2022) [Hi-Res]

This new album was recorded in late 2020/early 2021 in Billy Harvey's home studio a mile from my house, just me and Billy, staying far apart and wearing masks (except when I was singing). What a strange and different way to make an album, but I LOVED it. It was my respite during the height of the crazy. Stolen moments after dinner, book-ending long days of trying to keep our kids sane through virtual school and my work at the hospital (I'm a part time heart transplant cardiologist!). Just the two of us, throwing paint against the wall, no timeline in mind, no studio clock to watch. We of course invited our music family to collaborate, largely virtually, as the album evolved. I am so incredibly proud of the result.
