Sergi Felipe & Whisper Songs - Last Whisper (2019) [Hi-Res]

Sergi Felipe & Whisper Songs is one of the key players on the Underpool label. Sergi Felipe in fact connects the two, being the leader of this particular project and the founder of Underpool itself. Underpool in a very short space of time has become a reference for Barcelona's vibrant contemporary jazz scene, beginning at first as a modest solution to the desire to document the work of Whisper Songs. Currently, Underpool showcases the best contemporary jazz both on a national and an international level.

Last Whisper marks a significant moment for Sergi Felipe, by closing a period which has been defined by a trilogy consisting of the two previous albums: Whisper Songs (Undp-00) and Bambú és libre en el espacio (Undp-03).

This last recording goes deeper into the possibilities of working with structure and composition; revealing a more mature take on the music and featuring leading musicians active on the Barcelona scene.
