Tom Gaebel - Live At The Savoy (2022)

In 2020, TOM GAEBEL celebrated its 15th anniversary with the release of the chart album »The Best Of Tom Gaebel«. A big anniversary tour was to follow in 2021, but like so many others, it has already been postponed twice due to Corona.

The kick-off show of the anniversary tour took place on September 6th, 2021 in the Savoy Theater in Düsseldorf and was audio and video recorded. The intoxicating evening, which shows TOM GAEBEL & HIS ORCHESTRA in a wonderful mood to play, includes a very successful cross-section of TOM GAEBEL's most popular live songs, for which his fans had voted in advance. The result is »Live At The Savoy«, the first live album in TOM GAEBEL's career.

The album includes his own songs like "The Cat", "Feels like home" or his most famous song "It's A Good Life". There are also adaptations of great swing & big band classics and evergreens from the Great American Songbook. Songs that made Frank Sinatra immortal such as "Fly Me To The Moon", "That's Life" or "My Way" as well as songs by Tom Jones ("Help yourself"), Louis Prima ("Just A Gigolo") or Nat King Cole (L.O.V.E.) and many more.
