Rainald Brederling Quintett - Angry Voicemail To E. A. (2022)

The Rainald Brederling Quintet is on it’s musical search for Rainald. With a music that is diverse, politically engaged and sometimes quite loud. The four tend to like to scream their upset about some things: gender roles, forest clearances, the responsibility for one‘s own waste, the smell of gasolene — they would love to leave all of it, behind. They‘d rather lose the upper half of their head, to be able to see the stars more clearly — and grow into one band organism, as fluid, cosmic forms, aiming to really live the lyrics of the music. A small orchestra, looking for subservience to song, renunciation of traditional tasks in a band and virtuosity — but above all, timeliness.
