John Payne And Andy Nye - The Passion (2009)

Digitally remastered archive release from Asia Mk II member John Payne alongside former Michael Schenker keyboard player Andy Nye plus former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr and former Mike Oldfield and Rick Wakeman guitarist Ant Glynne. These recordings, originally taped under the band name The Passion, come from the late '80s before Payne replaced John Wetton in Asia for 15 years. John Payne has more than paid his dues in the Rock business over the last 25 years, having worked with a number of high profile artists such as Roger Daltrey. He was also briefly the vocalist with ELO II.
