Brigitte Angerhausen, Klaus Fehling - Funkenflug (2022)

The sparks began in the early 1990s in a recording studio in Cologne. Since that first encounter, the paths of the pianist/composer and the playwright/director have crossed again and again under the most varied of circumstances, and over the years an intense and inspiring friendship has developed, which now, after more than two decades, is reflected in their joint album "Funkenflug". manifested. In the winter of 2020/2021, the two decided to experiment and improvise together - without a score, without prepared texts and without knowing what the outcome would be. Flying sparks is the essence of the four improvised sessions between January and August 2021.
