Eddie Kesler is simply...a storyteller.
His steady gig is being a creative editor in the ad world with 20+ years of editing film and video for national and international clients. As an in-demand, award-winning cutter, he has crafted the stories that has helped to build and bring brands, concepts and ideas to life. His not-quite-as-steady gig has been a multi-instrumental musician and singer-songwriter the majority of his life. He started out as a drummer playing in rock/alt-rock bands touring up and down the east coast playing stages like the famed CBGBs in New York. All along playing guitar, writing songs and eventually taking up the mandolin to play in several bluegrass and acoustic bands over the last 20 years. Finally, after culminating a pretty thick songbook spanning many years, Kesler decided it was time to start laying them down in a solo effort he calls Eddie Kesler & 3/4 Time.
He's since released two separate solo albums in his name. All the proceeds of the albums go to charity. The proceeds from the first release in 2017, "Wingman", goes to the American Heart Association in honor of his late father. The latest release, "What's A Song Worth", all monies will go to NAMI.org for mental heath and suicide awareness. Both albums are available here and elsewhere. Kesler is a jack-of-all trades, but not necessarily master of none. Somehow all these elements came together to forge a fruitful creative career and an avocation of music where one helps support the other. "I try to live under the mantra of Pablo Picasso - 'The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away'"
