Almost three years have passed since »Stand Your Ground«, Julian Sas' last album. Like almost all colleagues, the Dutch blues and blues rock guitarist and singer had to take a break due to the corona. In 2022 he will be back with a new tour and a new album: »Electracoustic«.

The enforced silence was an emotional time for Julian and his comrades-in-arms. Not only because of the pandemic, but also because of the sad loss of her friend and fellow musician Fotis Anagnostou. Emotions that inspired Sas to write the songs on his new album.

On his Facebook page, the musician wrote: "This new album makes me proud, the way the music was written and played... The world is slowly opening up, which is a good thing... I don't think there's a way back. We have to stay positive and work for the future... better days are on the way... I miss you all but I think when we take the stage and meet again it will feel like the old days again.”

The unusual title "Electracoustic" describes an unusual album, because the record brings together two sets of twelve new songs each, divided into an electric full-band set and a set with acoustic versions.
